On the afternoon of May 30, a delegation led by Chen Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Henan Provincial Drug Administration, including Peng Xufeng, Director of the Science, Technology, Planning and Finance Division of the Provincial Drug Administration; Lu Yi, Director of the Seventh Regulatory Sub-Bureau of the Provincial Drug Administration; Zhou Jichun, President of the Henan Provincial Institute for Drug and Medical Device Inspection and Research; and Li Yanhua, Director of the Science, Technology, Planning and Finance Division of the Provincial Drug Administration, visited the Tianjian Lake Internet Industrial Park to survey the construction of the laboratory of Newland Pharmaceutical Technology Research Institute (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd.

     After arriving at the park, the leaders of the Provincial Drug Administration, accompanied by Newland Pharmaceutical's General Manager Zhang Luwei, Executive Vice President Liu Chao, Zhou Zhen and Wang Peng, Deputy Directors of the Newland Pharmaceutical Technology Research Institute (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., and some park leaders, toured the park's exhibition hall, as well as the biology laboratory, synthesis laboratory and analysis laboratory of the Newland Pharmaceutical Technology Research Institute (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd.

   Afterwards, a symposium was held in the institute's meeting room, at which the leaders of the Provincial Drug Administration listened to a report on the laboratory construction.

      The symposium centered on lively discussions of three topics: first, the problems, needs, opinions and suggestions regarding laboratory construction; second, the support measures the Provincial Bureau could provide in terms of science and technology assistance; and third, exploration of cooperation intentions, such as jointly building a key laboratory under the National Medical Products Administration, as well as support that could be offered in research and talent team building. After heated discussion and deliberation among the leaders present, the symposium concluded successfully.
