On the morning of January 22, the company's 2023 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Meeting was successfully held in the multifunctional hall. Chairman Xie Jianzhong attended and delivered an important address, Chief Scientist Professor Liu Hongmin delivered a speech, and General Manager Zhang Luwei, together with the senior management team, presented the annual work summary.   For many, 2023 was an extremely competitive year. Facing the complex economic environment, the senior management team stood firmly united around Chairman Xie Jianzhong and, in accordance with the strategic deployment of the board of directors, moved forward steadily with solid work and smart execution. Adhering to the safety and environmental protection as the main line, they ensured smooth progress of R&D projects, construction that met expectations, a well-structured talent pipeline, and further strengthened innovation capabilities. They boldly explored new markets, and achieved steady improvement in all aspects of the company's work to varying degrees, delivering a satisfactory answer to society.

  In his work report, General Manager Zhang Luwei noted that the achievements of 2023 should be taken in stride, and focused on an in-depth analysis of four problems that emerged during 2023, with targeted improvement plans elaborated for each. Finally, Mr. Zhang offered his outlook from three directions: strategic planning and human resource management, company-wide skills enhancement, and the commissioning of new projects.

  Chief Scientist Professor Liu Hongmin expressed great gratification at the comprehensive improvement in the company's management and its business results in 2023, and offered valuable suggestions on further strengthening the building of a high-caliber talent team. In particular, he called on everyone to sustain a strong atmosphere of dedication to work and of lifelong learning.

  In his address, Chairman Xie Jianzhong first expressed his gratitude to all managers and employees and extended New Year wishes.   Chairman Xie pointed out that the pharmaceutical industry is a sunrise industry with vast prospects. He urged the whole company to stay aligned with its strategic goals, remain confident and work hard with down-to-earth effort, seize every day, adhere to long-termism, and forge its own path, creating an even brighter future through solid work. He called on everyone to uphold the integrated development of intermediates, APIs and formulations, turn dreams into reality, and continue striving to build the company into a central China API base.
