Regulations for the Management of Hazardous Waste Storage Sites

1. The hazardous waste storage site must be kept locked.

2. The hazardous waste storage site must be managed by designated personnel, and no other person may enter without permission.

3. Hazard warning signs must be set up outside the hazardous waste storage site.

4. The hazardous waste generated must be delivered to the hazardous waste storage site in a timely manner and must not be stored outside the site. Designated personnel must keep the ledger records for the warehousing and outbound delivery of hazardous waste, and each container must bear the corresponding hazard warning signs.

5. Designated personnel shall be responsible for storage management, and shall maintain ledgers specifying the name of the waste, its source, incoming and outgoing quantities, and the manager's signature, etc.

6. Different categories of waste shall be placed separately in their designated areas; mixing is strictly prohibited. Each container must bear corresponding labels indicating its name, weight, date of generation, etc.

7. The packaging and storage facilities for hazardous waste must be inspected regularly; where damage is found, measures shall be taken promptly to clean up and replace them.

8. No unit or individual may transfer or dispose of hazardous waste without authorization.

9. The disposal unit shall possess the corresponding qualifications for waste recovery and disposal, together with relevant certification documents. The company shall sign a waste disposal entrustment contract with it and entrust the waste to its disposal.

10. Fire-fighting equipment shall be provided outside the hazardous waste storage site.

11. The storage site shall be cleaned and tidied on a regular basis. Fire accident investigations shall be conducted, lessons from accidents summarized, and the working procedures and requirements for improving fire safety management shall be refined.
