On the morning of April 20, celebrating an auspicious start to its first-quarter work, the company's 2025 Q1 Summary Meeting was held in the multi-function hall. Xie Jianzhong, Chairman of the Board, the strategic advisory team from Beijing Times Strategy, and Zhang Luwei, General Manager, gathered with middle and senior management to jointly review the journey and achievements of the first quarter of 2025, outline the Q2 work plan, coordinate Q3 priorities, and rally everyone toward the achievement of the annual targets.
Over the past three months, the entire company, driven by the spirit of "treating the start as a decisive battle," delivered a commendable performance amid fierce market competition. During the reporting session, each deputy general manager's presentation served not only as a review of the work accomplished in the current phase, but also as a springboard for the next quarter's sprint — building consensus, clarifying direction, applauding achievements, and diagnosing the challenges ahead. At the same time, the presentations looked beyond day-to-day operations to examine the broader framework, aligned with the company's strategy and setting their sights on the longer term.

General Manager Zhang Luwei summarized the first quarter's work, elaborating in detail on key priorities including production management, supply and marketing management, project introduction, safety and environmental protection, implementation of key projects, and competitiveness building. Mr. Zhang concluded by emphasizing that the company would anchor on its 2025–2030 strategic goals, apply a dynamic calibration mechanism for business units, and build a dynamic closed-loop management system to ensure strategy execution and implementation — laying a solid foundation for the first year of the six-year strategic plan.

In his speech, Duan Jidong, Chairman of Beijing Times Strategy and the company's strategic advisor, noted that the Q1 work reports clearly reflected the significant impact of the company's strategy implementation on the mindset of its key managers, which had further translated into tangible improvements in management methods and results.Addressing the current complex and volatile economic environment, he quoted management guru Peter Drucker, emphasizing that when the external order changes, the most important thing is for one's mindset to evolve accordingly and to keep learning keenly — only then can one stay at the forefront.
Chairman Xie Jianzhong expressed satisfaction with the company's overall performance in the first quarter. In his speech, Chairman Xie pointed out that the China–US trade war shows no signs of easing, and its impact on global trade and the economy will be far-reaching. "We cannot change the external environment," he noted. "The only way forward is to focus on strengthening ourselves, adapting to and gauging the direction of the economic situation, and actively responding to the new challenges arising from changes in both domestic and international markets." Quoting Kazuo Inamori, Chairman Xie remarked, "Apart from working with all your might, there is no second path to success."
Chairman Xie pointed out that the entire company should anchor on its goals, use strategy as its navigation, and integrate strategy into daily operations. He called for consolidating foundational management, strengthening process control, and achieving a systematic upgrade in management standards — while recruiting talent without preconceived limits and pursuing innovation across all levels and dimensions. Committed to long-termism, and through the relentless efforts of every employee, he expressed confidence that the company would realize its strategic goals, achieving "what others lack, we have; what others have, we do better," and present a brilliant report card to society.
