  General Manager Zhang Luwei reviewed the half-year work, benchmarking progress against the company's 2025 strategic tasks and key priorities. He elaborated on initiatives covering quality improvement and cost reduction, enhancement of fundamental management, a stronger customer- and market-oriented approach, expanded API market development, and talent team building. Zhang emphasized that all responsible persons and units must give top priority to the execution and implementation of the company's strategy, complete the phased strategic tasks, and ensure the overall 2025–2030 strategic goals are met.

Strategic advisor Duan Jidong, Chairman of Beijing Shidai Fanglue, noted in his speech that in the first half, the company's strategy had been advanced steadily and in an orderly manner around strategy communication, breakdown of strategic tasks, product evaluation, investment and expansion, organizational development, project initiation mechanisms and brand building, with the decomposed tasks progressing well. In light of changes in both the industry environment and the company itself, the second half will focus on adaptive adjustments to strategy formulation, with breakthroughs expected in business development (BD), marketing systems, investment and expansion, and brand strategy. In the final agenda item, Chairman Xie delivered his concluding speech, centering on the company's 2025–2030 strategic plan — what makes an enterprise "first-class domestically and advanced globally"? Starting from the vision of building a first-class domestic and world-advanced biomedical enterprise, he moved from the company's mission, values and spirit to the sustaining pillars of products, technology, talent and business models, using a series of quantitative indicators to clearly define the standards and goals Newlanders strive for. Covering the four business segments of pharmaceutical intermediates, APIs, formulations and innovative businesses, he fully and incisively elaborated on their positioning and development approaches within the strategic period.

Chairman Xie stressed that, with sustained momentum across the four businesses, adherence to the management philosophy of "goal-oriented leadership, process assurance, cultural support and management innovation — results-driven, with a PDCA closed loop as the action path and an execution team of steel-like will", the business strategy of "persistence, focus, innovation, cooperation and sharing", and the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility "to share with employees, reward shareholders, contribute to the local community and serve the nation", the company's 2025–2030 strategic goals will surely be achieved.
