On September 18, Liu Junwei, Executive Vice Mayor of Xuchang City, visited Newland Pharma for on-site research. Xie Jianzhong, Chairman of the Company, received and accompanied the delegation.

  Shortly after 8 a.m., Vice Mayor Liu and his entourage arrived at the company in a modest convoy despite the rain. Xie Jianzhong, the Chairman, who had been waiting in advance, stepped forward to greet them. Accompanied and briefed by Chairman Xie, Vice Mayor Liu’s group toured the exhibition hall and laboratories to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s operations. They recognized the company’s achievements and its development strategy for the future. As they walked and talked, both sides discussed the current status and prospects of the pharmaceutical industry.

Vice Mayor Liu pointed out that, as required by Secretary Yang Xiaojing, Xuchang City has fully studied and grasped the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speeches on supporting the development of private enterprises. The city will faithfully implement national policies to encourage and support private businesses, regard entrepreneurs as a valuable asset of society and private enterprises as a backbone of local economic growth.

Vice Mayor Liu stated that the government will proactively identify difficulties and challenges encountered by enterprises in their development, provide policy support, resources and convenient services, and fully foster a sound business environment. Joint efforts will be made to elevate Xuchang’s economic development to a new level.
